About Me

The idea for this blog was conceived shortly after my twins were. Unfortunately I’ve been otherwise occupied for the past year.  Now that I’ve emerged from the haze of early infancy, I want to share my thoughts, hopes, dreams, ramblings, and advice with all of you.

I had a life before twins, but I’ve blacked it out entirely. My life as a mama began with that first pregnancy test and has grown and changed into new and different things each day.  I’m a high school teacher by trade, and I’m happily married to this guy:

We brought our little darlings home from the hospital in July of 2012 after a ridiculously boring and absurdly long twin pregnancy.  I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, and my hope is that this blog provides information, support, and entertainment to twin moms (and all moms) everywhere.  While incubating my firstborns, I realized there isn’t a whole lot out there in the way of twin blogs, especially ones that focus on breastfeeding and other attachment parenting topics (or what I like to call “Cheap and easy parenting tips our generation slapped a fancy label on.”)   I’m not sure what all these twin moms could be so busy doing (cough LAUNDRY cough), but clearly something had to be done about this.  So welcome! And I hope you’ll find something for you here.

  1. Happy Saturday!
    Thanks for the follow. 🙂
I guess you found me when I liked your Wordless Weds?
LOVE those pumpkin candies! Can’t wait til they go on sale the day after Halloween! 🙂
    Congrats on your twins!
    Nice to “meet” you,

  2. Hi there!
I love the title of your blog, I love the fact that you’re from “sunny San Diego” and I can relate (well not really) but, I certainly enjoy the fact that you have twins! My sister had twins (boys) a very long time a go…they are all grown up and married now, but what an amazing journey it was to share in that adventure with her! I admire you and your strength, because I know you have it as a mama of twins! Hang in there…they will grow up and become independent adults some day! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and deciding to follow me on my journey! I’m honored to have you join me.
    Have a wonderful day!
    Becky
